DDAF83_30-U-600AUG 99 Occasional Air Conditioner Failure

I still have that problem but because its occasional i will treat it like a special occasion and put on a tux :p

Anyone just call a dealer to see about this?

I say you print the thing out and see what the dealer has to say. Most likely they won't do anything cause they are service bulletin advisories..which means they should look at it when the car is in and if really poses a hazard...then fix it otherwise they won't do anything about it.

OK, now had I seen this list I may NOT have bought a C36!!!

Geez, I know service bulletins are a fact of life for cars, but some of these are straight retarded!!! Like how the hell do you make a car with some of these issues???

Kam,

Just so you know

I have came across this the moment I have my C36..

but It doesn't bugging me..
why..

this is a list of reported problem on the particular far so far...
doesn't meant that it applies to all C36..

so while this applies to C36, in reality could be 99% item listed were reported on C220, C230, C230K and C280 (I hope you understand what I am trying to say here :) )

you don't believe me :p

check out other car, and let me know any car which doesn't have a long list.

Regardz,

swank

Check under the hood and read the attached plate that is located on the hoods underside (if it is still there)

It's okay, he just misread kam's post...

The question swank's trying to answer is "how do I know if I bought a C36?"

And I'm guessing that he's referring to the little silver (or was it green?) plate that has AMG on it along with info about the car...a plate that might only be there for '95s...hopefully someone with a '96 or later can confirm or correct me.
