Dip Stick P/N for Sealed Trans

Thanks to speedybenz and Bnzsport:

there is no dip stick for the tranny, but you can buy one from MB part #140 589 15 21 00.

You slide the dip stick down into the tranny untill you feel it hit the pan and stops. Don't push too hard or you will not get an accurate measurment. Make sure the tranny is hot and the car is level and in Park.

I have been using Mobil 1 ATF syn. and I am getting good results.

The more I think about it, the more I think the Marketing ......s and finance bleeps had something to do with it.:mad: BTW that E55 got a new trans at 49,500:( .

yeah i belive so too, right when ur warranty goes so does the tranny and so does 6k outta ur wallet OUCH!
