    My "new" mirrors

Since the rebirth of club202 I finally got the motivation to install these w210 mirrors. Nothing fancy here, no folding, dimming, etc. Just standard w210 mirrors. I have to say it was quite a bit more effort than I originally imagined.

Good job! How would you describe the install? Difficult, easy, any complications?

It was quite a bit of work for two lights. For the blinker part I could not find the wires to the taillights at the door sills so I ended up tapping the wires at the hazzard switch. The most difficult part was figuring out how to pass the wires through the door accordion. Adapting the wires from the 202 to 210 connector was also a pain. The mirrors I obtained came from a 2002 E320 and the only issue I have to resolve is that the drivers mirror up and own adjustment is reversed so i have to take the mirror apart and see if I can reverse the motor wires. I have another set to put on my C36 so I sure it will go faster as the learning curve is pretty steep.

Mainly came down to price and location. The power folding mirrors are costly and I would have to source them from overseas. These were local and the covers were already painted my color code.
