    AMG aero i wheels

    i got the steal of the century and got these wheels for $80! chrome amg aero i 17x8 et11 rubber 235/45. there is some chrome chipping on one of the wheels the rest look really good with no curb rash. i would run em on my 202 but i'm assuming the offset is way too low to fit in the front without some fender work. i'm looking to sell but i'm not sure how much they're worth maybe you guys can help me out. feel free to share your thoughts on how much i could get for these rare and classic amgs!

    found some 50 something year old guy 200 miles from where i live basically living on a farm and he didn't want these on his 560SEL anymore and had been looking to sell them for a while. oh and he gave me and extra 235/45 tire with like 80% tread left. so yea quite a deal haha

    I run my OEM CLS wheels at +8 ET. for all you "11 is to low fellas" you can run +11ET with stretch and clear without even rolling/flaring the fenders. Ill give you $150 without tires. =D

    LOL didnt think you'd go for it. But you did only pay $80 thats still profit! hahaha You should just run them, I think they will look great at +11ET. Chrome on black Mercedes is win. Especially monoblocks. Would need more like 205 45 up front and 205 40 rear depending on how aggressive your drop is. might get away with 215/40 all around if your not slammed.

    prbly like 2 inches in the rear and 2 1/4 inches in the front. for my 7.5 wide areo iis, i got 205/50 fronts and 225/45 rears and i only rub on u-turns. but then again, offset is 44 on those with 25mm spacers in the rear.

    this was right after i got a buff for my car it's like a new paintjob!

    try a 205/40 falken fk452 thats what i ran on my 17x7.5s and you're pretty low also. I was able to make full lock u turns with it at +35et no spacers, before i ever touched the fenders also.

    I say run spacers. Those are cool rare wheels and they would look good. I saw a set on ebay super cheap as well, Do people just not know what aero 1s are?

    EDIT:

    they are still here;

    I think most people get turned off by the low offset and think they can't run em on their cars. I also remember seeing a set on Seattle craigslist like 6 months ago for like $300 with tires. I guess people don't realize how rare they are

    Speaking of AMG aero wheels. This is probably the cleanest AMG wheels I've seen in my life. No dings, no scratches of any kind. No brake dust either.
