    Maf Replacement

I recently replaced my MAF w/ a Bosch replacement for my 96 c220. I expected the rough idle and the horrible first couple engine starts, but its been 3-4 days of the same thing. Driving wise its smoother but! when idling(in ANY gear) it lightly revs(700-1k). Has anyone else had this problem? What is the longest adaptation time for this situation?

1- try to replace your Fuel Filter.
2- Change your spark plugs (OEM ONES)
3- if not fixed, it might be your coils or your spark plugs cables.
4- or your Oxygen sensors at last.

please provide more info about the car.

syncview, excuse the vagueness, but how do you go about diagnosing a vacuum leak, im 70% sure i have a leak somewhere although the car locks/unlocks fine, headrests work fine etc but how would i go about checking all my vacuum lines?

check your throttle body as well. it gets really dirty because of the valve cover breather and it affects your idle. ( I disconnected mine for this reason)

If your liner is still under the hood their should be a vacuum diagram on it. Passenger side well atleast my 96 c280 does.
