    FS: W210 E55 AMG Cluster

For sale is my w210 Cluster From a e55 AMG. Don't plan on using it anymore and all it needs is the usual LCD fix on the clock and temp and also a reprogram to your vehicle. I ran it on my 202 and everything else worked great.

$100 shipped with paypal fees included.

    thanks for looking!

what's the "usual LCD fix" you speak of? I'm very interested in one of these for my car.

Question, if I get the multifunction wheel out of an E55, would it control this cluster? Would it connect witha COMAND 2.0 head unit?

LCD problem is usually the ribbons going from the board to the lcd display. You can find them on ebay and it just clips and un clips.

Honestly wouldn't know exactly what you would need to control the cluster. I believe just the wheel. Not sure though. buying the cluster would be a step towards the right direction!

How much do re-programs run? (looking for a general number whether it be dealership or non-dealership installed)

I was quoted 100 bucks to do it. At a reputable shop here in LV.

It can be caused by the ribbon cable in some situations but some are also related to bad printed circuits. The problem is actually called "pixel" issues which is caused by degrading circuit board contact.
I had this same problem in my E55 4 years ago and I had to send out the whole cluster to be fixed. Can't remember how much it cost me but I know it wasn't cheap either.

Last call. Few interested people. But no moves made yet, got till this weekend. If no one buys it. I'm gonna keep it and use it.

Reminder. The cluster fits into the 202 dash. But does stick out a little on the bottom. Still looks good though. Also forgot to mention, since the 202 has 2 sending units in the gas tank and the w210 has only one, the gas gauge reads backwards. Meaning full is empty and so forth.

If it is already programmed to your car you should just keep it. It looks fantastic!
