Are those the sport ones? I'm thinking of getting those and different spring pads to lower it a little

They should fit, as far as I know the sport package just has stiffer springs and shocks than stock. The only way they wont is if you have auto leveling suspension, i dont think 202s had that though.
Completely mad.
'99 C230K, intake and exhaust more on the way.
'86 MKIV Escort RS Turbo, stock for now, chip and more boost on the way
'75 Fiat 124 Spider, koni shocks, bigger carb and drilled/slotted brakes
to tune and hoon the mbz master race.
Ok so im in the market for springs and shocks and im going to go with the H&Rs and the bilstein sports series B8..... now I saw that they have it for cheap price on partsgeek.com but my car is 99c230K and on the web says "except on the sport model" .... can anybody give me more info on this ...????.... THANKS
You can put those shocks on any of our cars, they just say those dumb "warnings"
The sport and the regular models use the same shocks though, thats what i meant by that lol
Ok ... Now my other question is that once i do the bilsteins and H&Rs will my car have a stiff ride ?? I seen on other forums that they recommend eibachs with bilsteins bc they are smoother !!! Can anybody verify that??!!! ....
Thanks for all the help guys
Yea I'm having the same dilemma. I have read that eibach has a more comfortable ride but doesn't lower the car as much. Also do the eibachs have the tendency to lower the rear more then the front or something like that?
yeah they say that eibachs sag but overall they are pretty good too...... i ordered H&R springs already.... now the only thing i need to figure out is which shocks im going to buy??... i been reading a lot on mercedes nd bmw forums that the koni yellow adjustables give you a good ride bc you can adjust them .... now the bilsteins b8s are non adjustable so big question is which one is better ride quality, while keeping comfort?? does it make a big difference that you can adjust the konis to the softest setting ?? koni yellows or Bilsteins B8s??? anyone??
they sell koni yellows with and without the adjustment, just be sure of which ones you are buying.. The better the handling, the stiffer the ride.. they usually go hand in hand..

Koni Yellows on the softest setting are softer than my Billy B8s. Also B8s will break with hard driving on a lowered 202, so get Konis with the solid lower bushings.
Both versions of Koni Yellows are adjustable, just one is external, and one you must remove to adjust.
Thanks for the info thats a really helpfull .... But unfortunetly i im reading this a little too late i already oredered my b8s .... So i will be lowering my car on h&r sport springs and b8s !!! Im hoping to get a nice ride out of them !!!
Btw i g
Btw i got my b8s for 69 a piece so i cant complain !!!
the koni sport external adjustment how is it done. do you take it off the car because that would be a big inconvenience. I was thinking of getting eibach and bilsteins sport, but if i dont have to get the koni sports off the car to change the stiffness that would be sweet.

where would I buy konis because tire rack has them as pending for the delivery date
They are adjusted at the shock rod which is located at the top, under your hood for front and behind the panels in the rear trunk.
I had ordered Bilstein Sports from Tire Rack and they also had a delivery date of a week or two. Luckily my set just came in and I am in the process of installing them. Should be finished tomorrow. refreshing quit a bit in the front end... Polyurethane Bushings for Control Arms, Ball Joints, Center Drag Link/Tie Rod Assembly, and Bilstein Sport Shocks (front and rear)
I have Bilstein Sports on my VW MkV and they're firm but very comfortable. I've ridden in Koni Yellows and either the owner did not set them right with their springs or it just doesn't ride smooth and comfortable.

Bilstein sports FTW!
I bought eibach springs and blistine sport shocks from tire rack and just received the rear shocks. waiting on the springs and the fronts they are coming from NV. now I'm debating on what wheels to get. has anyone else seen this wheels before are they mercedes wheels, i send the owner an email for more pictures I will see what is he or she gone send me http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/m...695526241.html
Im goin with the bilsteins too but the h&r sport springs. At the same time im putting in all new bushings and a new steering dampner so should handle nice
I'm also doing the H&Rs with the b8s ... i got my springs thru tire rack and now im waiting for the shocks that i got thru ajusa .... hopefully i will have the setup done by the wknd ... now i have 18'' mono 2s... should i do 1 pad on the front 2 in the back or 2 on the front 3 in the back??? .......
how is the ride? which pads did you end up using? It should settle and drop some more right.
