    1996 0-60

I've read about all kinds of 0-60 times what are you guys running? I can't seem to beat 7.3 0-60 maybe its because of the weight from the 15" sub and heavy amp? But I doubt that's the reason its running two seconds slower than its suppose to

launch it. My c280 is balls slow if i just floor it from a stop. but if i build up the revs with my foot on the brake, then get on it....much quicker. These cars have some weird timing tricks to limit wheelspin of the line, hence the slow performance 0-60. try it.

and ive gotten around 7 secs in mine 0-60

My c280 was 7.8, and I do launch it at 4500 rpms maybe its because of the p0400

that would definately help. ASR will cut out power if it senses slip. especially an older system like yours

strange thing is iam so nervous about flooring my car lol...i just feel like its fragile or something. but when iam around town and leave from a light my car is a complete dog. not sure if its just cause it is what it is or something is actually wrong lol. but yeah i just feel like this car in general is very breakable compared to my past cars....

I feel like if I don't floor it in my C280 then I'm deprived of that M104 roar. This is probably the most solid car I've ever been in, and the sport package makes a difference.

As for 0-60 I'm somewhere around high 7s. Figures, the only major thing I've changed is body styling.

i got my car at 116k now has 173k over 7 years. Ive floored this car more times than one could count. If it breaks, i find it fixes itsself. the car knows i'll get rid of it if it misbehaves. m104s need/love to be beat on. its your responsibility to yourself and the car!

7.3 in the c36? that aint good should atleast do mid 6, with some really good tires and engine in perfect condition you can get 5.8+- like this one 5.7 let's say almost 6 sec aint bad this one 6.3 (next post) for some reason some c36's seem to be a little quicker. Anyone got an idea how it's possible some are a half sec faster stock? I think it's just the condition of the car (besides that the euro's seem a bit faster then us)

you don't have those because those are Kilometer clusters. You probably have a MPH cluster.
