It's amazing how much faster this car is without the extra weight from the sound system

I feel I should chime in and say again how jealous I am of all C36 owners... Pure sex in the form of a car.

Think of it like running to the end of your block with a 5 gallon water tank your gonna run faster without the weight even if its 1/10 of your total weight and remember weight multiplies with speed

And I take it you've never lifted a sub expensive high quality are around 75 pounds not including the box that holds it you put three 75 pound 10" subs trust me not only will you notice a change in acceleration but you notice a change in your miles per gallon, its the same thing from running alloys to heavy fancy rims

I asked because, you might still had the stock system so it suprised me lol If you want to have some nice subs in the back and don't mind the fact it slows you down just keep it. I myself try to keep the car light as possible. Fixed the lock already? I wonder how this exactly could be caused

    Wear and tear maybe?
or it might've been forced in one direction.
Looks like it hasn't rusted or anything so something must've jammed

the strange thing to me is why is your car having a face-lifted smart-key while its a 1996, I think some moron at a certain point converted it and missed it up, correct me if am wrong. because your car is supposed to have the The 'switchblade'. good luck
