    convert basic cc to electric cc

    basicly I want to know if wanyone has converted there climate control from the basic setup to the electronic climate control
    how hard would it be
    and if I can how do I take that plastic peace off where the radio and all that goes

    Yes it could be converted but will cost you too much and many added parts....

    Take dash out.

    Replace entire heater box assembly.

    You will have to install in-cabin temp sensors.

    Version coding the ME.

    Your basic dial system is simple because it uses cables to manually open or close blend door flaps. The electronic climate control has electric servo motors to control blend doors with comand signals for the 'push button' (aka CC unit)

    The amount of work you are getting yourself into, you are better off buying a 202 already with CC.

    Keep in mind AC system has to be evacuated also before pulling out the evaporator core.

    It is also most likely not wired in your chassis harness, so there will be major wiring modification to the ME.

    ok you convinced me lol I just wanted to know how hard it was im surprised no one makes a little converter kit really
