C43 complete engine / part out.

After a 5.4L swap, I have a C43 engine around either for parts or take as a whole. 160k miles. Clean no sludge. (Good running shape)

What's missing is the oil pans, harness, ps pump, alternator, AC compressor & throttle body.

Intake manifold available, valve covers, timing cover ect. availible.

    Will post pix soon.

I have a harness that has w163 ECU connectors at the end of it. Yes bolts to a type 6 but type 6' also had a handful of bell housing patterns.

Yes. Though I believe you may be using it if you dropped the 55 into a C43.

You are correct. I didn't realize the only one I have is the Drivers side and its cracked. Not useable really.

What did you need them for?

I plan on havong a custom header made. My understanding of this design is that it is not best, and can be improved. Having the header in hand might be easier to evaluate, instead of having to pop it off. I pretty much use my car daily.

I see. I have the drivers side which can only be used as a mock up. It's yours at the cost of shipping. If you PM me your shipping address I can get you a USPS exact quote.

The passenger side you would have to source, I only have ones for a 163 & 210 (113 engines)

C43 and CLK430/55 are the only ones that are compatible. No other models. FYI

Sorry, I don't have any mufflers left.

I do have a C36 muffler but the tips are gone, so nearly worthless.

Sure lol. Not sure how to price that, considering the removal procedure. But throw a number at me. Worst I can say is no because I'm lazy to remove it.

Probably wouldnt be worth the effort. LOL Thought there might be a chance of the engine already in pieces.

If you ever emd up takin it apart, give me a holler.

Like I said. Make an offer. I keep thinking I'm going to use the bare block as a table or wine bottle holder after sand blasting it, but not enough motivation yet.

Do you know if the 4.3 and the 5.5L pistons and connecting rods are the same?

Pistons are different, rods possibly as well, not 100% on the rods.

Pistons are larger diameter. Rods most likely are longer(?) to increase stroke.
