1998 c230k down on high end power

    Hi guys,

I disconnected the battery on my 230k to clean and grease the battery terminals. Reconnected, everything is ok apart from hesitation at 3500-5000 rpm. The car seems down on power too. Everything was fine until I disconnected the battery. I have driven the car for 100 miles and it is still the same. The S/C clutch is working fine and comes in at 2000rpm. I have connected it to STAR and there are no faults. Anybody else heard of this?? I'm now thinking the battery has nothing to do with this problem. MAF is my next port of call, I have read threads on the net about only using the genuine Bosch MAF and not the ones from E-bay. Can anyone attest to this?

    Cheers,

    Chris.

Fuel mixture adaptation data got reset.

MAF is a good guess, but its only a guess until you look at the data.
