    Stall and No Start HELP!

This morning I went out and started my car as I doe very morning to let it warm up before leaving for work in the morning. It started up fine, with no hesitation.

When I came back 20 minutes later the car had shut itself off (I'm assuming stalled) and refused to start. It would crank over just fine, the battery seems to have plenty of juice, (lights all work, radio, locks, no dimming of lights when running anything), but it will NOT start.

    What gives? Any ideas?

    *****UPDATE*****

My wife just tried to start the car now, (2.5 hours after issue occurred) and it started right up.

    What caused this to occur???

Has this every happened to you while driving? The reason I ask is becasue my crank position sensor went bad a few years ago and the car shut off on the interstate while going 60mph. Anyway, when the sensor is bad it will cut off the engine to protect it.

How is your idle? It is hard to troubleshoot something like this, but I would check the basics first: MAF, plugs, coils, etc.

It's happened a few times to me, but usually will start right back up. Always happens when at idle, either in traffic or warming up in the driveway. Idle seems fine. Quiet and smooth.

    Replace the crank sensor
