    Lowering with OEM wheels/tires

I just had the lower ball joints done on my 2000 C230 Sport and and need to do the control bushings & sway bar bushings to refresh the front end. I'd like to install a set of H&R Sport springs & Bilstein Sports while it's all apart. I think the answer to this is YES but, has anyone run the OEM 17" 205/55 with the H&R/Bilstein setup or lowering springs? I'd like to postpone the purchase of C43 Monoblocks & tires for a bit because the suspension work is going to bust my budget for a while. Thanks in advance!

I currently run SLK 17" wheels with 225 and 245, lowered on H&R. About a 2" drop possibly more. No issues if that's what you are looking to hear.

In my signature you can find the link to my Member's Gallery. Though the only pictures I have up are with my 18" Monoblocks. The look is essentially the same, just less tire with the 18s vs the 17's. Also note that the 18s are a slightly tighter fit bc they are a wider rim. The specs are also listed in the Gallery.
