Angry Ignition key issue, can't put the car in Neutral to get a Tow, please help !!!

It started a few weeks ago, key won't turn into ignition at random times. Now it won't do it at all. It's in position no 1 and that's it. Has nothing to do with the key fab batteries. Even thought, with brand new batteries the LED won't blink any longer, this is another annoying thing.
Today, I had the towing truck out, to get it to a shop but they can't take it since it's not in neutral, also it's parked in reverse.
I don't see a flap on the gear shifter after removing the panels, how do it put this in neutral ??????????? Mechanic said from under the car to release , but I can't jack the car now and seems complicated. The other way he said remove the 4 bolts from the top at the gear shifter to access the release tab ... but looks like I have to remove the central console too. Not a good day for me...

    Looks like it's a A2022670537 gear selector.

Looks like the diagram (Below) I have is different from what your vehicle is equipped with. It seems like the AMG Model doesn’t have the shifter release available. In cases like this, we usually dispatch a tow truck with either Go-Jacks or Wheel Lift and Dollies to tow the car without damaging it. These are both pretty standard with any towing service. If you’d like, we can dispatch a tow for you. As long as the vehicle is going to a Mercedes-Benz dealer and you’re having the service done there, the tow is free of charge. Give me a call and let me know if you’d like me to set that up for you. Our number is 1-800-367-6372....

    Great

Looks like this board is dead...
Anyways, had a new key made on the spot for $300 and it's the newer version. The old one was bad and could not be reprogrammed.
Works great and I'm back on the road. If you ever have a similar issue and you live in South Florida, shoot me a message, I'll connect you with this guy.

I don't like those keys, they are not originally made for w202 cars.

Love the new key and so far works flawlessly. The old one was all beaten up.
