FUEL FILTER BOSCH vs KNECHT vs MANN?

Has anyone ever used Bosch Fuel Filter for their MB?
My 99 C280 is due for a change. When I shop around, I found that there are big differences in prices:
    Bosch -$30
    Mann -$48
    Knecht-$75

    Any comment or suggestion?

    Thanks,

Yup, I just replaced mine with a Bosch filter. Just FYI, when you go to order, you'll note that you select your fuel filter based on your VIN number. There are several different styles...

    Slugger,

    What year is your 202?
When I do a search on mine, it only come out one style with 3 different brand names.

Where did you order yours BTW?

    Thanks

    I have a 1996 C280

Depending on the chassis number there were like two or three different types of filters (brands) for each type of chassis. They basically gave a range of chassis numbers, and whichever range the car falls in, there were two or three options. I hope this wordy response makes sense.

It looks like yours is much easier to figure out. There are a couple of different filters as you mentioned, in different price ranges, but it looks like they are all compatible with your car. You only have the one style...They must have made modifications in my year.

For what it's worth, and I am by no means an expert, I have found that Bosch equipment has been just fine in every area I have replaced a part. I have used Bosch spark plugs, clear blinkers, all types of filters, etc... Very good stuff. So, if you can save money and get Bosch, I think it's fine. Maybe someone else has a different perspective.

Here are a few places that had comparable prices...
I got mine from the first one on the list. I called them and they were very helpful.
