    scanner

    anyone know how much it runs for to get ur error codes scanned? and any suggestions where to go in the east bay?

    dealer i think it's around 100 per scan
    autozone i think does it for free

    but you might want to consider investing into one, either a handheld model, or one that is palm/clie based with adaptor you just plug in and see all info
    it pays for itself easily, and you can use it on any car 96+

    what about the 94/95, can the handheld one work? is the 94/95 obd1 or something?

    my dealer is always nice enough to do it for free, when I ask. I have a 95 c280. $100? it only takes 5 minutes?
