    Pistons, Rods & Headwork… Oh My!!!

    My pistons & rods have finally arrived! I must admit it's been a looooong and painful wait. Fortunately, just looking at these parts reassures me that they were worth the wait. Besides it's not like we had nothing to do. In the meantime we have reworked the head and bored & honed the block. I’m still waiting for Crower to deliver on some custom-built high tension valve-springs with titanium retainers. However, we can at least we can get the short-block together and do some more prep-work while we wait.

    Are you asking how much material was removed during the porting? If so I can't answer with precision, as I personally did not do the work (I let the experienced flow-master take care of that). However, I can say that visually the passages were opened up and reshaped a bit. Overall, I'm sure it will help improve flow and add a few HP.
