It was really to hard to make all i used was air cutoff tool and some metal files.
a)did some measuring first.
b) made a few model ones first out of poster board. This is the hardest step, i just add some more pieces of poster board with satples and reshaped it. Its just trial and erorr.
c) layed it out on the metal sheet( 20 gauge stainless steel) traced the model.
d) Start cutting, this part probably took the longest, b/c my air compressor didn't produce air fast enough, so i had to wait for the pressure to go back up.
e)folded the creases this was tricky, i had to grind the line down a little bit and then clamped it down then folded it.
f) test fitted the piece and filed all the sharp corners off. then did minor cutting and fitting to make it fit right.
g)measured the mounting backrets, cut them out then welded it in place.
i cut the hole for the pipe last just to make sure i had everything right but if i re-made i would've cutted out when i was cutting out the whole thing.
I still have to wrap the intake and the out side with heat wrap and shape a little scoupe from the fog light hole so that the air can get to the filter easier.
i dont need a lid b/c i measured it perfectly so that it touched the hood when its closed.
thats pretty much it, if you need help just holla.

ps. where is your engine undershield and get a replacment bracket for your coolant overflow pipe!

Sound nice, bit kinda loud after 3k especially when i gun it, but works really good, feel a big improvement, a lot less lag even on hot days. At night its way good. I still need to put some insulator tape on the outside to really make it cooler on the inside.
The engine undershiled are long gone, when i spun out last year. Haven't felt the need to buy it yet, DO I REALLY NEED THEM?? Theres a whole mess of little stuff i need to buy just too damn lazy.

Try to add some more sheet metal to your heat sheild so that you can completely seal it up, except for the intake pipe coming from the right fog light area. And make sure the top seals against the hood tight.
2ndly I would find a bigger filter for your system. I am sure your current filter is somewhat restrictive to the airflow.
But the real key is too pull the air off a high pressure zone at the front of the car and then make sure all your piping and airbox are sealed up and airtight.
What you have now is, likeyou said a big improvement over the stock setup, but if you do the above it will really kick some airflow butt.
