2006 xB - bubble tea mobile
1984 AE86 SR5 - project levin
1986 AE86 GTS - project trueno
will do!
Please note that these lights are after market lights...not the quality Bosch or Valeo lights that are sold from factory.
I know that the pre 97 US headlights are different from all rest of the world 202 lights, but for those who don't have the pre 97 US lights, it is easy to take off the glass and paint the plastic surround behind the glass black (currently gray and chrome in xenon headlights) and make the covers over the lights black from the outside (as is done in the xenon headlight) to get the same black look results...
greetingz,
Steve,
Can you please elaborate somewhat on your previous post.
So you can take off the glass outer lens, I have a 1999, C43 and expose the bulbs and reflectors. Then you can paint the areas behind the reflectors to black or gray.
You do not paint the reflectors that are located behind the bulbs right.
I hope I got that sort of right.

I think the corners should have the same layout to look good.

Thanks Etienne.. you beat me to it. Yes, that's the link the smoked headlight.. To be honest with you, they do not worth the money. They look ok.. but $250 plus shipping is abit steep!Originally posted by MrSpace

They are nothing more than painted OEM unit. The paint is about an inch thick surrounding the bulb opening. The reflecting plastic around it enhances the darkness.
Thumb down on this one!
Too bad those corner lights are too dark, would have been nice:

Yes, they are too dark, to bad they weren't smoked color like the middle of the rear light lenses in my C280. Question, did Mercedes use side markers on the W202? I see them advertized, but my 99 doesn't have any and I haven't seen a W202 with them
Thanks, :bunny:

yes but not in the US. So you can either buy them and drill holes in your fender or just do the ever poshOriginally posted by BenzMeister
