    Amazing how cheap C36's are. Bang for the buck, they might be great deals, I wonder how much comparable M3's are going for?

    it is actually a factory color, taxi yellow...just don't know the code nor the proper name for it.

    Hey guys.

    A german member is needed, hm?

    In his description he tells that the car had an side-accident and he rebuilds it completely. That's the reason why it's completely new painted. That's what he's writing.

    @Renn 208

    The yellow is not the taxi color, it's way different from that!

    Taxis are not yellow in germany, they're "Elfenbein". It's a beige (fawn) tone.
    On that C36 it's a color that is similar to"Dakargelb" from BMW which was only available for the E36 M3s. I think it's a mixture of any laquer, otherwise I have seen that color on an S202 here in Tübingen before...perhaps a designo color. It's easy to get that here in germany.

    Good E36 M3s with around 50000 or 60000 miles start here in Germany at 10000€.
    C36 are also not that cheap like the bid in eBay...they start at 8000€ with 120000 or 130000 miles (!), if you want to have a '96 or '97 model with 50000 miles, you have to search long and then you have to pay around 14000 €

    thanks for the clarification Alex!

    Looks like I made a bad assumption based on the benz taxis I saw while in portugal (the color being similar to the picture shown). However, your info on the auction itself is most helpful.

    Hey, thanks.
    No problem.

    If you need some information about things from germany, just ask me.

    If somebody is interested in that C36...he also writes that he used the car as a "second-car", that it had always a place in the garage and that it was driven only on sunny days.
