    AMG SL4 Rims

I was just at my dealer looking at the new S65. The thing is mean and sounds even meaner.

I fell in love with the rims. I have been searching on the net for something that might fit the W202, but all the rims are 19". The smallest offset is 8.5.

These won't fit even with a prayer, will they?

8.5 is the width of the rims. I am guessing it's a staggered set with 8.5 and 9.5 wheel widths. The offset will be preceeded by an ET, ie., ET40 or ET45.

    I know what you mean.
They are the nicest wheels I've EVER seen.
Yes, I have a few mods, but they\'re so discrete, my wife hasn\'t noticed them.

If the ET makes no problems, 8.5x19 and 9.5x19 will fit.

    I have 8x19 ET35 225/35 with the H&R CupKit.

Yeah, I thought they might be. I was not sure if going from 17s to 19s was possible. Also, more importantly, I don't want to hurt my cornering.

I race, and racing is more important than looks for me. Now, if I can make the car look good as well as increase performance, then great!

Yea, thats kind of expensive for some wheels. I would get a set of Forgelines, Kinesis, Fikse, etc. before I dumped that much loot for some wheels

I just made an initial check, but it seems that Forgelines, Kinesis, etc. sell for about the same price. Where do you guys usually get your rims from?

    What about these?

What he's trying to say is that for the same money, you can end up with a better wheel. You can clear the 18x8.5 +30's and 18x9.5 +31's if you can get about 5mm of fender flare, but at the end of the day, somebody else will have spent the same money to get a forged wheel with more lip. It's also my opinion that chrome faced wheels look tacky, but I know some people feel otherwise.
