    model : 1996 C220
    mileage at the time tranny had problem ; 120,000km
    driveable at the time: Couldn't go into reverse. I could only drive forward.
    solution : Reconditioned tranny
    coverage: None. USD 1000 including labour

    mileage at the time tranny had problem ; 233500 miles. Transmission was never serviced before as far as I know.
    drive-able at the time: Yes, but only in the 1st gear, and Reverse. P719 and P720 if i remember correct
    solution : Replaced transmission conductor plate (w/ speed sensor) , new oil, filter kit, and one spring, I have all the parts no. somewhere.
    coverage: None. USD 500 including labor. I ordered the parts myself online.
