Okay.. so I just placed it on my trunk lid so I could see what its gonna look like.. still need to wash my car as you can see from the pics!.. but I will be installing it for good tomorrow.
I have mounted it just at the trunk hump (on model updated W202's)

I got one from ebay (not CF style) that goes from edge to edge. Length was perfect.......the one you got looks good though.....the lip is alot higher than mine....nice!

do you think it should go from edge to edge on the trunk lid?.. does the real BMW M5 spoiler go from edge to edge?
I still think it looks good.. but Im thinkin I maybe have the incorrect one?

slammed: the M5 does go to each end of the trunk.
I suggest before you mount it to email the seller. It looks too short man!

Yeah.....looks a bit short.
It could be that the spoiler was for a different car, but looked ok on a benz. Never know...seller just trying to push product out the door.
I bought two off ebay....both were the correct length, but one had a short lip, while the other was taller (still not as tall as the one you got). Sold one while pumping gas in my car to a Honda Accord owner.
Your spoiler is shorter, but the tall lip looks good! I'm sure in person you can get a better feel as to how it looks, from the pics....looks ok.
well I took the plunge and put it on the other night.. even though it is a bit short on the ends it still looks good to me... I still like how it looks.. it is different.
and the height of the lip is pretty sweet..
so no turning back now!!.. it is mounted!

did u mount it before the slight bump or on the bump ?
