found them cheaper on ebay. $65 each. but youre serious it comes as an assembly? is it all one piece or what? i thought it was just bolted on at the top???
Even if you could unbolt it that doesn't mean MB will sell it that way.

Ditto,
You'd have to buy the whole upper control arm.
That ebay price is so cheap for a pair especially. Last time I checked the dealer sell them for around $260 each..

is there a way i can just replace the rubber piece? is it a hard to change the upper control arm by myself?
are you replacing it just because the rubber is damaged? as long as there is no play or clunking noise coming from it, you dont need to replace it.Originally posted by ryhi

i am getting some clunking noises. when going over bad roads my car gets really loud. i think this is responsible for that as i have already replaced the lower control arm bushings, lower ball joints, front springs, and shocks. this seems to be the only thing i havent replaced yet, and it does look pretty bad.
I replaced both of my upper contol arms, bought from Orileys, 88 each. Not too hard to put in, it took about 30 mins for both side but I had use of some air tools. Mine was making some clanking too, but I replaced the shocks first and it stopped, no signs of tire wear but I replaced the control arms anyway.
