how much of a difference if you go from #3 to #1 pads, and is it safe to go without pads?? how much do u think pads costs?

maybe 3/8" or 1/2" at the most.... I wouldnt go without pads.. they help keep the spring centered in the spring perch.. and they keep the spring from rubbing on metal.. you ahould have them.Originally posted by 94benZo

they are $4-5 each.. not very much at all.
do a search and you will find the part numbers...
