I'd try it if there were more angles available. I don't see this set on ebay very often.....Originally posted by Frenchy

BUT, I have a sneaky suspicion that if you had this set on at night, it would look like a W203. Not necessarily a bad thing, just depends on how it looks on the face of a mostly square car.

Ouch !
First and third link : 120 $ for shipping to France !!
The second one : half this price : 60$
The third one gives a waranty : 100% Moisture proof....hmm...
Anybody knows which type of bulbs those headlights are using ?
Can we keep using the level adjust ?
It seems that we could use Xenon HID as they say....
Thx for the links
FYI most of the time when you put an HID assembly in a halogen-intended projector, you end up with crappy light output.
Did this in the OEM projectors of a '91 300ZX. It was better with halogen, except at blinding people. Ebay variants are probably much much worse.

That's a C43.

ah, how do you figure that? i think that grill is pasted on if you look at the bottom edges. don't know how else you would figure it's a c43 from that angle if you can't see the top of the steering wheel if interior is two tone etc.. etc..
Like you said, body kit. And How many W202 has curves like that, stock? and Fog lights. I'm pretty sure its a C43 because it can't be a C36, WALD, Brabus, Reiger, Lorinser, or Carlsson. C43 is the only stock bumper that has curves like that w/ fogs. Or maybe he just got a C43 Front Bumper.

yeah hehe know it's a c43, was just wondering where he got the hookup for the kit if it isn't a c43, because they are rare as hell over here in aus apart from if you go fiber.
good guess my friend!! but incorrectOriginally posted by 97C28O

its actually a c200... it came from the factory with the AMG kit and exhaust.. if you notice the rear wheels are the same as the front and not the deep dish wheels.
you're correct there my friend! i did a copy and paste for the grill as well when i photoshopped it coz i wanted to see what it would look like on my car. incidentally i just received the grill kit for my car in the mail and will be putting it on this weekendOriginally posted by DRM

the interior of my car is a a black cloth colour (came like tha from the factory). i am thinking of getting the interior retrimmed in leather but i dont like black leather and i have a feeling a light coloured leather wont suit the car colour....
yeah man came factory fitted. i think there are places overseas which sell the kit for round US$800 but by the time you ship it over here to oz it'll be easily double that price.. then you have to paint and fit it which will cost a bloody fortune.Originally posted by DRM

from my recollection i've only seen 2 other c43 look alikes on sale here in australia (one red and one dark blue) and you have to pay a fair premium to get one. i'm sure there are atleast 5 of these here in sydney but its rare as hell to see them on the road
hey man that's cool that the exhaust and kit were factory fitted. I've been looking for an oem c43 kit and I think one might be coming my way soon enough! yeah i think i got a quote for around $800 au for fitting and painting the kit? not too bad I guess. Your car looks tough man, done anything else to it?
about the interior, there was someone down in melbourne with two 202 wrecks with black interior, they were either mb tex or leather, they gotta be better than the cloth right? would be easier to match with the other black interior pieces and save a lot of trouble reupholstering them all to another color.
thanks very much mate. i bought the car 2nd hand and apart from lowering it and fitting a K&N air filter (same as oem shape - not a pod filter), i havent done anything to it. i am planning on some putting on some 19 inch deep dish rims maybe in the next 6 months. i've been after a set of 18 inch amg aero II's but they are rare as hell and when they do appear i figure for the same price i can get 19s fitted. i would have really liked to have it dumped on its guts but my driveway is steep and i wouldnt be able ot get up it.Originally posted by DRM

It looks like the black part is actually just a cover that goes over the whole thing and leaves a couple of circles visible.
