Thread: Wow - When Flex Discs Go Bad

    The M10 bolts should be torqued to 40nm/30lbs and the M12 bolts should be torqued to 60/44.

    I have never done this, so I can't offer any real advice except to say that the Haynes manual is very emphatic that you make alignment marks so that you put everything back together in the same relative position in order to prevent any imbalance problems.

    No doubt the experts here will chime in with real-world advice!

    $100 seems around the average online price although Importec has the front for a bit less at $94. Autohauz has the rear for $64 which is much cheaper than most places.

    hmm jesus do you have to drop out the exhaust to do them front one??

    could barely see it on the ground but atleast its seems in good condition

    I replaced the flex disks and the silent blocks yesterday!

    Mine were worse than the pic posted...
    W202.018 -> M111.961 (Yeah!)

    Similar question as ncd. Do you have to drop the exhaust to change the flex disc?

    It was changed at the stealership... so i can't answer...

    But I suppose that no! You don't have to drop the muffler...

    right so your all good if your arms are 2" wide and each finger is a socket wrench.

    hahah! I think that you mean that you HAVE to remove the exaust after in order to replace it right? Well, I had to remove it, thats the truth... Actually, the guy @ the repairshop...
