You dont have the year and model listed, that would help. I know on my c36 it would be easy to knock off a vaccuum line while in there. I would just pull the cover back off and recheck all your work.
Any suggestions? I changed plugs and wires one week ago, and the light came on today. The car runs a lot better than before - smooth and quiet. Could it be a sensor, and so just a coincidence? Thanks for any advice.

oh, its a 2000 C280. I put about 300 miles since changing everything. The car is at 85k miles. Thanks,
Did the light come on right after or did it take 300 miles. If it took 300 miles it might not be related. Check your gas cap? I would try to get it scaned then post up the codes.

It came on this morning on my way to work, after 300 miles. I am going to AutoZone during lunch to get the codes, and I will post them. Thanks for your effort.

pulled the code - P0130 O2 sensor. Well, at least it has nothing to do with my work ... but always something
