This happened to me (but on the driver's side) and I fixed it myself for 4 bucks after a trip to home depot. I got the idea from mbworld... I don't remember what I searched for in the W202 section, but it was a good idea. I basically bought an eye bolt, a large diameter washer and a smaller diameter washer... I'll get the exact parts when I get back from class (I'm about to run out the door now). Took me about 20 minutes to do.
