Thread: can't take out H1 bulb?

    can't take out H1 bulb?

    i don't know what im doing wrong.
    i know how to replace the low beams (h1)
    but i can't take them out from the connector to the bulb. it's really hard.

    if anyone know, please tell me what i'm doing wrong.

    just didn't want to use more effort in take those bulbs out from the connector.

    Did you undo the little metal clip holding it in?

    That metal clip is a pain in the ass to take off! I got so pissed the first time, I didn't know which direction it comes off so I ripped it out!!!

    yes, i took the metal clip first.

    i know how to change bulbs, but i just can't take this H1 out of the connector.
    it's driving me insane

    this happen to me too..
    they seem to stick like a super hard glue, since i haven't change it since i bought the car.

    then i say "what the hell" then i just change the whole head light with the new clear headlamp.
    and fit them with new bulbs and HID also.
    then problem solve

    mmm, possibly welded (too much current)/rusted on, I had that issue, but was able to pull hard enough to get it off.

    went to the garage today.

    the thing melted, and was welded into the metal clip.

    had to replace the whole connector.

    it was a big lol.

    THAT STUPIED F*CKING CLIP HAPPENED TO GO BETWEEN MY NAIL AND MY THUMB AS IT FLIPPED BACK FROM ME TRYING TO PUSH IT IN............I STARTING BLEEDING, AND ON TOP OF IT I HAD TO HAVE THE DOC RIP THE NAIL OFF......
    Theres a demon in my car i tell yah....its name is KOMPRESSOR lmfao

    Holy crap!!! Thank god someone else had this happen... well not thank god... but... ya know.

    How did you replace the connector? Were you able to buy the connector by itself? The dealer told me that I had to replace the ENTIRE wiring harness for both front lights... I called BS.

    I really want my fogs to work again...
