Can't use the same lug bolt on one side of the rear...

I use 26mm lug bolts and they fit perfectly fine on the passenger rear. On the Driver side rear, my ebrake springs are touching the bolts. I know this is probably UNSAFE, but when I bought these wheels and bolts years ago, the shop had shortened these bolts on the driver side so that there would be no CLICKING noises while driving. It seems as a mere 3-5mm was taken off the bolts so that it doesn't touch.

Anyone reasons for this, or is my ebrake screwed? ebrake seems to work fine..

I have some Brabus Monoblock VI 18x8.5 et35 replica wheels... no spacers. I was thinking of adding a 20-25mm spacer in the rears since I didnt go with a staggered set up years back..
