are mercedes shift knobs real leather since mine is pealing i have replaced it with another, if its real leather can you get a new skin for it ?

It is probably alot cheaper just going to ebay and buy a replacement one.

I have already replaced mine, the reason I ask if its leather or some other material, the eastwood company mostly musscle car parts make a spray that can repair it to like new condtion but it only works on vinyl not leather i just cant see throwing out such an expencive part, have a leather couch and coat there real leather its not the same as the shift knob.
yep its leather i removed the skin and will make a new skin from some nice leather
