I need spacers badly also, but many have said negative things about 'em. Ask Luwin, he seems to have some experience with them. Keep me updated on this please.

I have wheel spacers on my W202 that were machined by The Wheel Supply. They are hubcentric and I have had no problem with them.
They are 7mm thick

I have custom-machined hubcentric spacers on the rear wheels, and I have had no problem with them. You don't want to overdo it and run a huge spacer, as that puts a lot of load on your lugs, but I haven't heard of any problems with using proper hubcentric spacers. I'm running a 15mm in the rear. And of course, you have to get longer lugs sized appropriately. Remember - the important thing to remember here is use a proper spacer - hubcentric!
SpeedyBenz, Luwin, do you have contacts at Wheel Supply?
My major issue is the offsets. On the rear, the lug bolts hit my emergency break springs, hence the clicking noise when the wheel turned. These are already the shortest bolts I could find so far. I could cut the bolts a dart or two, however, I decided to bent the backplate hold down springs outward. The result is surprisingly good.
However, I am replacing my emergency brake shoes soon, I figure instead of bending the new springs, perhaps spacers are in order!
Please post your contact at Wheel Supply, I ll give them a ring asap!
Thanks in advance!
Im running H&R 10mm in the rear.

I have 15mm spacers all around on my 300SL24 (in order to use the same wheels as on my C250D)...no problems...not even at 240-250km/h...
greetingz,
Luwin and Jeff: why'd u guys use custom-machined spacers rather than H&R ones?
CKlasse: I had the same problem with my E-brake... I just shaved my lugbolts down... but I like your solution too!

Some wheels have different center bores, so I had to go custom. Also, I'm not sure if H&R makes a 15mm. And one more thing - "custom" sounds much cooler.
