Headlight lens

I broke my left headlight lens from a rock chip, can we just replace the lens instead of the whole headlight assembly???
One online store told me I have to buy the whole headlight which is over $400.00. I think it's ridiculous if I can't just buy the lens.

does anyone have instructions on how to replace the lens? I'm in need as well of a new lens for the right side, it's been cracked for almost a year now.

my dealer can order it up and put it in, total cost be about $200

I purchased a lense 75.00 brandnew from www.thepartsbin.com for my c43. It is a Bosch lens and it is original equipment.You dont need the whole assembly. There are some clips that hold the lens in. you also need to take the parking light out which is very easy. Any problems give me a buzz I changed mine three weeks ago myself. 347-489-9644 Carl..

replacing the lens is really really easy....when u take out the headlight there is a bunch of little black clips that hold the lens on, just pop those off and the lens comes rite off

$75.00 a piece??? Wow......my shop quote me around $130.00 a piece. Should I buy a pair??? because if I just bought one, it will look different.

yes I'd buy a pair because you can tell which side I replaced. The driver's side lens is aged from weather, rocks, etc but I'll chnge it soon .Goodluck!
