Checking 230k bilstein shock part #s

I'm negotiating a deal for a set of bilstein shocks a guy bought for his 280, and I just want to make sure the parts still work for the 230 sport. here's part of the PM I got from him:

    "Part #'s are B36 1856 and B36 1857 . I also see F4-B36-1856-HO & F4B36-1857-HO.

One set is for the front and one set is for the rear. Not sure which is which. A total of 4 shocks."

can anyone with a 230k sport cross check that with their shocks if they're bilsteins to make sure they match? thanks tons.

the 1856's are for the front and the 1857's are for the rear. they will fit your car but these are bilstein heavy duty shocks, just so you know. they are not the bilstein sports. so if your planning on lowering your car soon then you might want to invest now on the sports! the heavy duty's are slightly stiffer shock than the OEM bilstein's that came FACTORY on your ride.
