Hi guys this is my first time posting and was hoping you guys could give me some good advice.

I have a 94 c280 black on black w/196k on it. I baught it about 3 weeks ago. Engine sounds good.

Problem: When I turn on my a/c on all iI get is hot air, like if the heater is on. I had it checked for freon and it was ok. I was told that ther may be a heater relay switch or shut off valve that may be stuck and thats why I get heat. AC line into dash does get cold and seems to be working.

I would appreciate any suggestions, since this week out in NorCal we are experiencing mid 90s to 105 degree heat!

Thanks

first, welcome!
second, your duo valve is probably stuck open if the ac is warm. do a search, it has been discussed many times before.

Is there any way to bypass the duo valve? Maybe diisconnecting the hoses and looping them together?

put the duovalve in, unfortunatly they aren't like the older cars where you can actually repair them.... try tapping it w/ a hammer and see if it frees up.... otherwise ur SOL

yes you can bypass it, but you wont have the heater anymore.
