Interior Door Knob Ripped Off

My friend’s kid ripped the door lock off the passenger-rear door. The plastic knob was stripped and the mechanism screw dropped inside. Is this a major hassle (taking the panel off) or can the screw be pulled up through the lock hole?

Thats the link to how to dismount the door panel. Good luck!, I have to do the same for my drivers door lock because its not engaging and the door can be opened even though I lock the car with the alarm.
