hey i recently bought a jensen 2 10" subwoofer with amp, but i dunno wher to put it. when i put it in the trunk i barely hear it and have to raise the volume high. i placed it in my backseat and can hear it well, but it moves around on the seat. what is the optimal place to put it so i can still hear the bass?

Few questions for you. What are you powering it off of??? What size box do you have them in???
I wouldnt recommend putting it in teh back seat because you have to secure it some how and in teh back seat there realy isnt any way to do that without mess ing something up

ya ive had this problem (not jensen tho)
if you cant hear then,
1. is is a sealed box ? get a ported one.
2. remove your stock subs to have the bass enter your car. (search this topic)
3. Ive cut my ski hole out (didnt have that option on my car) and have more bass entering.
Jensen isnt really something that should be going into a MB ... your ar do what you want, but Id stay near Alpine/Pioneer/Memphis/MOMO-Polk Audio.
are you running a stock deck or ?

the deck is stock and so are the speakers, i just had installed a jensen bandpass with the amp in the trunk conected to battery, and im tryin to place the subwoofer in backseat, but every time i turn a corner, it slides back and forth. how can i keep it without moving

you sure its hooked up right ? amp setup correctly ?
the backseat really isnt the place for it. Id start from the deck, to the speakers to the subs & amp boxed.
I see your going backwards here ... get an aftermarket deck, they will run about $200 for something like pioneer at walmart.

jenson = walmart brand stereo equipment.......any stereo product from walmart will make your car sound worse than it did before. spend the cash and buy some good products and have it installed correctly if you've never done it before!!!
i run a 1200 watt monoblock ORION amp to 1 12" PLANET AUDIO big bang sub in a huge ported box and it makes my ear drums pop all the time. my one sub is as loud as most (dual - 12's) and even some (tri - 10's)
who ever told you jensen was good products really knew how to lie outta their a**

Someone fed you ten different lines of BS. You should go back and start woopen ass there. Jenson is not the worst ever, but its not great. Ummm, a good box and decent amp and you should hear it no problem. Some one sold you a POS

You're fucking kidding me right? OMG! That's hilarious! Invest the money and get a decent sub amp combo. I have a JL 12" and a 250 watt Alpine amp and I can hear it just fine.

Jensen is really low end stereo equipment, i would consider selling it and buying from a reputable company, go to Magnolia Hi Fi or a mom and pop stereo shop and ask them what is considered high end, dont go to best buy/walmart/pep boys/target
