$950 BRAKES!!!! For my C43!!!

WOW , so i need new pads and rotors for my C43... The Rotors are $280 a piece!!! I called 2 places and got the same answer... is this coorrect? They gave me a $950 total price for front pads and rotors, and just rear pads. Please Help I am freakin out!

Just went through the same ordeal over here in Australia. Here the CHEAPEST price for the OE rotors was $US450 each! Researched for weeks but came up with nothing that was cheaper and certainly nothing that was better. The OE rotors are works of art... aluminium alloy hubs with steel pins supporting the cast iron outers... BEAUTIFUL! Well worth the $$$.

oh wow..that is insane! I better start takin it ez on teh slk55 then...

sometimes I can downshift and bring the car from 50 - 5mph roll without using the brakes :)

The rear rotors are much cheaper, so you might as well just do it all. They are only $60 a piece on www.importec.com. Fronts are $258 a piece.

they are so expensive because they are aluminunm bonded to steel for a lighter rotor.

i checked BMAs website but call them they usually can give you a better price.. they are in cali so maybe you could even pick them up

Try benzautoparts.com They have rotors for your car for $257

if ur freakin out you should see a psychiatrist, those rotors are BANK, notice they have the aluminum hats......... they are trick.
