Thats not bad, you might know someone who does black chrome in the Tampa/St. Pete area, or anyone for that matter.

black chrome is exactly what I was looking for, but its still the same process right ??

hmm if its about 1200 for the set then its not worth it ... my rims dont cost that much besides I still need to save $600 for a set of tires!

so what do you guys suggest ? I wanted something sorta dark, like a gun metal finish. ? paint them maybe ?

If you don't have tires on them, then it should only be around $100 per wheel to get them chromed...I have never seen it for as much as $300 each! Maybe if the tires needed to be unmounted, and bends and curb rash had to be fixed...but it should be $500 at most for all four.

my situation is ... my 18"s dnt have tires, they are completly stripped (caps bolts rubber valves EVERTHING) they have curb rash which I got primered and now they are nice and smooth water-sanded, just that they need a finish. to paint them would only require wiping them off from greese and spraying w/s.gun

alsacorp.com - look for specialty paints. yes, paints and then go to seatown autoworks to spray em.

no I hear powdercoating makes the aluminum weak.
