Question about body panels.

Just wondering, do the front fenders have the VIN of the car on them?

or want to see if a car has had them replaced if its been in an accident?

Maybe they can be put on like how they do window etching

I know some other brands have VINS on them, not sure if MB's were too.

Im not sure about the fenders because on my moms old C220 she had them replaced and I dont remember seeing any VIN's because I was the one assembling the car back.

I know the trunk lid has a tag, the hood doesnt. W202 is one of the cars that isnt tagged on every body panal. dnt know why.
