Driving home yesterday my main lights went out and I drove with my foglights all the way home, so I need to replace them. I was just making sure they are H4 55/60w bulbs. I was just wondering because oem headlights are h1 55w. Thank you

I found the answer to my question. http://www.club202.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10394&highlight=high+beam

But i was also wondering why my high beam were working but not my low beam? Isn't it just one bulb

Edit..
Okay I found out that there is a seperate bulb for low and high beam.

If you look closely into an H4 lamp you will notice that it has two... things instead of one. If one of them brakes the other one can still light up no problem.

Thanks NEA-4311 so I don't have to buy seperate H4 low and high bulbs. Just one.

Yeap..! Just show the old one to the guy in the shop, he will give you the right one. And maybe do a search for some luminics or sth if you want to change the color of / improve your light quality. No more than 55W for crystals (or pjs) though, they melt.
