I was searching on ebay to see whats about for C36 in aftermarket rotors n pads etc and came across these.

Check this link.... (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCEDES-C280-C36-94-00-F-R-DRILLED-SLOTTED-ROTORS_W0QQitemZ320025136917QQihZ011QQcategoryZ335 64QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Anyone have any experience using these or know of other good options for new rotors?

Any advice appreciated!

hmm... isn't the c36 rotors more expensive then the c43 ones? excuse me if i am wrong, but for some reason i am under this impression.

Brand always matters, Im not sure what kind of brakes C36 cars have on, A very nice set of disks to put on (well, stock brakes) would be the Ate Cryo-treated Powerslots. Thats what Ive heard anywayssss...

I believe you are thinking of the 95 C36 that uses rotors specific to the 95 C36. The 96-97 C36 uses rotors that are shared with other models (meaning cheaper and more options).

im very interested in getting tehse as well because i need new rotors and pads for my 96 c220 for the winter. do u guys knw if the c36 rotors are the same as the c220's?

i'd pay the $30 extra to get the "different design" and have them JUST SLOTTED and not drilled.. drilling on some of these cheap rotors tend to crack the rotor...

Nope, the C36 brakes are completely different. They are much bigger. That is why the C36 has 17" wheels, so the brakes will fit. Using the '95 C36 as an example, the front brakes are a modified version from the SL600, and the rears are from the E500.

the 95 C36 brakes are more expensive than the other year C36.

The C43 brakes are also very expensive because they are like aluminum bonded to steel for a lighter rotor
