Shitty MAF situation!!!

ok so this is wats up ... my new MAF is being ordered tomorrow, my pops says he needs my old one and ya, I have no problem with that .... but Im still using the old one and driving with it.

I have one little problem , uhh see I got an important lunch date tomorrow, my parentals cant know about this and my car wont have a MAF - will it still run ????? I will only need to drive about 50miles thats all. Please let me know ASAP! ;)

Hmmm since your engine uses this sensor to take air temp,density and flow...i'd say if it does till run with it disconnected it will be barely drivable.

Left bonnet while running and pull the plug on the MAS,see what happens?

ya my dad needs my old one to make sure WorldPac gives him the exact replacement and he needs the part number on it or whatever else it has stamped. a few times they gave him wrong parts so he just needs my old one.

anyway I tried driving without it, it still runs the same (crappy) but has no idle - it dies. im not tking any chances especially with my gf with me. ;)

Ive borrowed my friends SE-R Sentra for tomorrow. :)

At least ill have my W202 running good soon, I really cant wait to throw it on a dyno I want to see what my custom intake did because I know it accelerates alot quicker!

its stock besides that but im just really curious. u think Iridium spark plugs do any differnce LMAO ?? :D


theres also a little video ive been wanting to make ... I will just say one thing - I will be getting differnt wheels soon and ya kno those stock tires just take up too much space ill smoke em for fun! :D
