COMAND from W211

Does anyone tried to implement COMAND from W211 to W202?

I know, but all of them got a COMAND from W210/W208 and I am asking about COMAND from W211...

I wish....but I think that the form factor difference would only be the first issue...I've asked about it in the past, but just the curvature and width of the unit would make it seem obviously out of place in a w202 or w208 console.

Bottom line, I haven't seen one yet.

Ohhh Steve (or BigSis)....why not drop in and prove to me that it can be done!

(as a side note, it would be nice if people would fully read a noob's post, or at least the thread subject, before shooting back with a glib "search" reply...w211 COMAND is quite a bit different from a 163/208/210 COMAND. I know that most of the posts deserve it, but try not to get too jaded around here. There are folks who do ask new and interesting questions from time to time)

I apologize. I didn't mean SEARCH in a bad way... and my fault for not reading correctly. Sorry.

The W211 comand is a most based system while the W210, W208, and W202's are a D2B based system.
the are not compatible as the Most system uses an audio gateway (the controlling device. the actual comand/nav unit is only really a display, the audio gateway is the brains of the whole thing.
so the W211 comand is not compatible.. unless you want to be the first to buy all the parts neccessary to make it work!!.. might be really costly to do.
plus as was mentioned.. the W211 comand is a different shape.. wont fit into the W202 dash very easily.
the W210 and W163 Euro camands are the way to go.
