Chrome Side Air-vent?? [Archive]

hey i have seen some cars like 300C that have like a chrome side air vent that seems fake, but looks real, as if it was stuck on with double sided tape. what is this part called as i want to search for it but dont know the name? thanks for your automotive help and expertise

fender vents or maybe side vents. If you r planing on putting that on a 202, i would sujest otherwise. I dont like them on any car, even on like am M3, but they do work it in well. if you cut out teh fender and then mold in th piece in, then maybe, but sticking it would would look tacky and out of place.

execellent, ummmm, ok. I think it looks like an after though and would just look ridiculous on any MB for that matter. Well, you do whatever you want, but im sure you will get flak from most ppl who see it

you could go and do a fender replacement, i saw some fenders with the air vent installed, but they still don't look that good for the effort/cash you will have to put in.

roll the fenders if you want that area to look better!

Are you kidding ... did you guys see the VENTS ON A W210 or something it was OFF the HOOK guys not rice..
personally i lack vision/imagination for vents on the 202.. but vent look sick on some cars not to mention the cooling benifits.
