I'm running Mobil 1 5W-30 per speedybenz's recommendation and absolutely love it. :D

and since it don't get all that cold around here, you don't want to use the 0-40

I was looking into this oil, and found two types of the Synthetic 5W-30. Here are the links:
5W-30 Syn (http://www.partsamerica.com/SelectParts.asp?MfrCode=MOB&CategoryCode=3255%20&SearchFor=5W-30)
5W-30 Syn Blend (http://www.partsamerica.com/SelectParts.asp?MfrCode=MOB&CategoryCode=3253a&SearchFor=Synthetic)

What's the difference? Also, are you running regular oil or synthethic?

Thanks

A synthetic blend is simply a blend of reagular, in this case, 5W30 and a synthetic 5W30. In other words it's a blend of regular motor oil and synthetic motor oil, hence the name synthetic blend.

Is there any advantage of using syn or syn blend? Better yet, what kinda driving situations would you prefer one to the other?

Because you drive a C 43, which is a serious high performance car, I would switch to Mobil 1 synthetic which is a pure synthetic.

Yup, go with the pure synthetic.

The best prices I've seen for the 5W30 so far in SoCal is at Target! :D

I have close too 95K miles should i run 5w-30, currently i am running 10w-30 syn.

Also at "certain" walmarts you can find the 5 qt jug of Mobil 1 Syn for $19.08, thats a littl;e less than 4 bucks a qt.

The best price here in the bay area for Mobil 1 is at Costco. I went with Mobil 1 10W30. At Target here the Mobil 1 cost $5.99 a quart. At Costco 6 quarts for $23.99.

Yeah I did that and then figured out it is cheaper to buy the individuals instead of the big jug. I think it was like $.50 more per 5qt.

Yeah, but Target is so much nicer than Wal-Mart. Every time I go into Wal-Mart, I end up getting a headache trying to squeeze through narrow aisles and crazy people pushing carts with kids hanging off of them. And it's always crowded, and the lights are dim.

Target, on the other hand, is straight-up quality. (In their respective market) - bright lighting, wide, CLEAN aisles, clean floors - rather go there and pay a little more. :D

(I hope BENZO doesn't find out we shop at Wal-Mart/Target - heaven forbid that is not part of the "Lifestyle") :D
