I have a '95 C280 and have already had the head gasket replaced. When I was underneath changing my oil, I noticed a small leak coming from an area about 1 foot rear of the oil pan. It seems like it's where 2 engine parts are mating together and there seems to be a drain plug on the passenger's side. Any idea what part this is? Also, when I was tightening down the cover on the oil filter, it did tighten, but it just seemed like it could have just kept spinning. Any ideas?
