Interior sliding sunroof panel thing

Is there an easy way to remove the sliding sunroof panel, the interior portion with the vents?

It looks like the only way to remove it is to take down the entire ceiling...which I don't really want to get into.

I always leave my sunroof tilted, and recently noticed that it's pretty filthy from all the dust, debris and whatnot combined with any moisture that it might have come across......

I think its the only way, does not look lie you can slide it out or anyhting.

that's what i was afraid of.

i was hoping that someone here has taken it out before and knew a shortcut....i dunno, like "you only have to remove the front and you can reach it from there"

okay, so i have really specific and descriptive wishful thinking
